The Daily Mail isn't for Virgins

Last week Virgin Trains announced they were stopping selling the Daily Mail as it no longer fits with "their values".

Now, personally, I don't really give a shit about that, they can sell what they want, it's their trains.

However, what bothers me is the way they went about it, taking the moral high ground, virtue signalling to everyone, telling the world just how jolly great they are!

Why?  Why did they feel the need to do that?  Why not just stop selling it without fuss and telling anybody?

Because they're desperate!

Desperate to rescue an ailing reputation, to look good and to move with the times.

Moving with the times is not something they're used to, considering most of their trains are late.

But I just don't get it, why go to such lengths unless you're after publicity?

Funny though, today old beardy has come out and said they'd listened to their customers and have will start selling it again!

That went well.
