Time to change the Lateral Flow Tests

As someone who is horrified by all the single use plastics around us, it's time to do something about it.

Last time I opened your eyes to people getting bottled water from a local source, and now the Lateral Flow Tests should be scrapped too.

I don't mean the tests themselves, we need to keep those but the actual KIT itself.  It's a piece of white plastic that gets binned when used, or worse. thrown in the sea to kill sealions, sharks and mermaids.

So why aren't they made of something else?  Surely we could ditch the plastic and make the tests out of wood?  You could keep the positive ones as a memento and compost the negatives.

Or what about making them from bread?  You could put it out for the birds or the tramps.
